Facelift can solve the following problems:

dropped eyebrow line;
lowered outer corners of the eyes;
vertical crease between the eyebrows;
sagging skin and sagging cheeks;
deep nasolabial folds.

To look fresh and youthful, it is important to pay attention not only to the face, but also to the skin of the neck. in women, it is the appearance of the neck that can give out age-related changes. A neck lift can get rid of a double chin, wrinkles on the neck, and sagging skin.

Types

Plastic surgery offers several methods for a face and neck lift. The choice of technique depends on the condition of the skin and the needs of a particular patient. The most common:

General circular facelift is performed by incising the skin along the hairline and removing excess skin. The incisions are stitched, which dissolve after 2 weeks. The operation gives a good result even with strong age-related changes.

SMAS lifting will get rid of deep wrinkles and tissue prolapse. Surgeon makes an incision from the front edge of the ear to the back of the head, moves the musculoaponeurotic subcutaneous layer and fixes it in a new place.

Endoscopic facelift is a minimally invasive technique (facelift is performed after 2-3 small incisions). It is used to correct imperfections in the upper and middle part of the face.

Thread lift is an operation in which doctor inserts special threads under the skin that cling to soft tissues and return them to their place.

Operation

The lift is usually performed under general anesthesia. However, a local lift is performed under local anesthesia. The duration of the operation depends on the chosen technique, but does not exceed 4-5 hours.
