Visit of Tsinghua University

On the 16th of December, in the framework of their visit to Georgia, organized by Rhazes Global, Professor Victor CHAN, Co-Associate Director of Tsinghua Berkeley Shenzhen Institute, with other delegates, met the chairman of Education, Science and Culture Committee, Genadi Margvelashvili at the Parliament of Georgia. Professor CHAN and Chairman discussed future mutual projects. Chairman stated that he welcomes all kinds of business and friendly relations and exchange of experience and knowledge with Tsinghua University, for the benefit of Georgian students and for expanding the partnership between two countries.

Professor CHAN and his delegation also visited Caucasus University (CU) and Georgian University of Public Affairs(GIPA), where they met with President of CU, Professor Kakha Shengelia and Dr. Archil Gersamia, head of administration at GIPA with other members of administrations and deans of main schools, during the meetings, educational programs and details of future collaboration in scholarship programs and student/lecturer exchange were discussed.

Tsinghua University is 1st in China and 43th among world’s universities according to QS ranking. Rhazes Global is Tsinghua University’s partner in the Caucasus region.
