Aykın Şimsek M.D.

Born in Ankara in 1964, Prof. Dr. Aykın Şimşek finished TED Ankara College High School and garuated from Medical Faculty of Gazi University in 1987. He completed his residency studies at the same University. In Gazi University he also worked as a Assistant Professor in 1995. His international experience includes clinical fellowship in Orthopedics at Newcastle Upontyne University in 1996-1997 years. He received his Associate Professor and Professor degrees in the field of orthopedics and Traumatology in 2000 and in 2005 accordingly. Since 2014 he is working in Amerikan Hospital and Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of  Koç University Medical Faculty. His main interests are management of soft tissue and bone tumors and knee and hip joint arthroplasty.
